A clear plan for launch and aftercare

Your proposal sets out hosting, backups, updates and post-launch checks. Ongoing care is quoted around the site and the support you need.

How it works

The proposal will add detail, but most projects follow these four stages.

  1. 01

    Discovery

We discuss your customers, what the business needs, who supplies the content and what the website must work with.

  2. 02

    Design and build

Your website and any matching print assets are planned from the same brief, so the brand stays consistent.

  3. 03

    Launch and handover

We run final checks, launch the site and hand over access. Any launch print is managed to its agreed deadline.

  4. 04

    Ongoing care

The agreed Care Plan covers hosting, routine updates, backups and the level of support selected.

Common questions

What is included, how it works and what happens next.

Do I own the website?

Once the agreed invoices are paid, you own the custom design, content and project files covered by the proposal. WordPress and third-party themes, plugins or fonts remain subject to their own licences. We provide the access and handover agreed for the project.

Can I update the site myself?

Yes. We provide WordPress access and a handover session. The amount you can edit safely depends on the site and will be explained before launch.

Do you write the website copy?

Copywriting is not included in the starting package prices. We can quote to write or edit copy, or work with finished content. Your proposal names the person responsible for each page before the build schedule is set.

What happens after launch?

We agree hosting, backups, updates and post-launch checks in your proposal. Ongoing care is quoted separately, with responsibilities and costs confirmed before launch.

How long does a typical project take?

A straightforward Foundation site may take 4 to 5 weeks once content and approvals are available. Larger projects commonly take 6 to 14 weeks. The proposal sets out the working schedule, what we need from you and when you approve the work.

Can you help with brochures, signs and other print too?

Yes. We can design, specify, source, proof and manage print production alongside the website. Physical items are quoted separately so the scope and supplier costs are clear before anything is ordered.

Ready to discuss a website?

Tell us what the website needs to do, what is already in place and any deadline you are working to. We will review it and suggest a sensible next step.
